Hello everyone,
I’m considering purchasing a Kia K5, and the seller seems a bit shady. Should I be concerned about potential issues with the car’s parts, or is the K5 generally reliable?
It’s the best car I’ve ever owned, and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
Are you suggesting that they use it as a drift car?
I have 30,500 miles on my 2023 GT Line, and it’s still nearly brand new. I’ve had around 12 oil changes, two alignments, and I replaced the tires at 26,000 miles. I also change the intake filter every few thousand miles. Some might not notice, but as soon as the engine oil feels “gritty,” I get an oil change. I really love my car and take great care of it because I can’t stand many of the newer models. I won’t buy another K5 after this one eventually wears out since it’s my daily driver.
So wait. You can drift a front wheel drive ca
You can “attempt” to drift anything, whether it’s a front-wheel-drive car, a toy car, or even a Barbie car. However, how effective that drift is can vary. But yes, you’re correct that drifting well in a front-wheel-drive car is pretty much impossible. The same goes for all-wheel-drive cars; you really need a rear-wheel-drive vehicle to take drifting seriously.
And just to be clear, if you’re someone who drifts in public on open roads, please reconsider your actions. Drifting on a closed track is fine, but if you think street racing, drifting, or “takeovers” are acceptable, you should seriously rethink your choices and consider the potential consequences, especially if you were to harm an innocent person.
I haven’t had any issues with my 2021 K5 GT Line, but I didn’t qualify for the $3,000 payback because it has a push-button start.
