No honk when locking the car

“Hi everyone, I have the 2025 GT Line trim and I’m curious if it’s normal for the car to make a honking sound when you lock it twice. I only hear a soft beep, like it’s only locking once. Even if I repeatedly press the lock button, I don’t get the usual loud honk that confirms the car is locked. Is this normal?”

“No honk, just a soft beep. You might be able to adjust this in your settings. Personally, I prefer the no honk feature—it’s less disruptive, especially if you’re arriving home late. The constant honking can be quite annoying, especially for those who need to press the lock button multiple times.”

“I’ve always wondered why my car doesn’t give a confirmation when it’s locked but notifies me via the app if I leave it unlocked.”

“You can usually adjust the settings in the car. Also, avoid enabling this feature; it’s quite irritating and bothers everyone around you. The beep is clearly audible.”

“It’s frustrating when you’re 20 feet away in a parking lot and forget whether you locked your doors, especially if you’re too far to be sure the remote is working. I doubt the other cars in the lot will be bothered by it.”
