I also bought a Kia. A '22 Forte GT (bought brand new) that now has 20k miles.
No issues.

My brother in law has had countless issues on his brand new Mercedes. It can happen to any car.

In a similar line of thought, my sister bought her Toyota Corolla brand new in 2017, that thing has had countless issues. No manufacturer is safe from issues.
So I’ve had now 5 Kia’s and I had a 23 Sportage as well. No issues. I now have a 24 Sorento. Love it. Any issues I’ve ever had they were addressed immediately. I’m sorry this has happened to you. There are definitely lemons out there for all brands.
@Del
You’ve had 5 kias? How long have you had each vehicle?

Leased each 2-3 years ea.
That would be the time period least likely to have any issues.
@Dior
True but I put 60-70k on them
@Del
Geez you sound like my mom getting a new vehicle every year, must be nice

I have a ‘23 forte GT with 20k miles. Had absolutely nothing go wrong in those 20k miles. Nothing but oil changes

I owned a 2006 Optima through 2010. I presently own a 2020 Optima. Zero problems to report from either.
Sorry you’re having problems with your car, but those things happen.
I have mine over 2 years and no issues here, but a flat tire…
Every mass produced car will have certain vehicles that are more prone to issues than others. This is one persons experience, and it’s good that it was shared.
On the flip side, we have 4 Kias in the family, all bought new, and have had 0 issues with any of them.
