Are Kia K-5 GT models being sold for more than their MSRP?

I live in New York and I’m having trouble finding a Kia K-5 GT in stock. If I do manage to find one, will they likely be charging significantly more than the MSRP?

Only those who lack sense pay markups. Don’t give away your hard-earned money. My dealers in Albuquerque mark up $3,000, so I purchased my last K5 in Denver for $3,000 less. You might pay MSRP for the GT, but avoid paying any additional fees.

A local dealer has three new GTs available, each priced at $1,000 below MSRP on their website, along with additional discounts like military or veteran benefits.

With a bit of negotiation, you might be able to lower the price by another $1,000 or more.

I’m located in Colorado.

Executive KIA in Connecticut doesn’t add markups and, as of last week, had a GT available. They didn’t charge markups during COVID either. They’re one of the few honest dealerships in the area, so the drive might be worthwhile.

I purchased my 2025 GT/GT1 below MSRP, though it was during a July 4th sale. Nevertheless, most should be sold at MSRP.
